	The Fargo Police Department will offer a Landlord Training Program class from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm November 16th for managers or owners of rental property in Fargo. Topics discussed during the class include applicant screening techniques, lease agreements, fair housing issues, the eviction process, warning signs of criminal activity, maintaining the property to housing code standards, the role of the police and other property management issues. The cost of the class is $10 per person. Participants who attend the training program will be notified if police are sent to their rental property. In addition, training program participants can obtain free local criminal background checks of prospective tenants through the Fargo Police Department.
